2013 Basketball Stars of America Spring AAU Basketball Make Up Tryouts, Skill Development Sessions and In House Programs!
Most of the scheduled Spring Tryout Sessions have passed however there are still many spots remaining on Basketball Stars of America Spring AAU Teams. BSA will be hosting AAU Make Up Tryouts at 5 Practice Locations in the Pittsburgh Area this weekend (March 9-10) and next weekend (March 16-17). For those that can’t make the Weekend Make Up Tryouts, BSA will offer weeknight Make Up Tryouts by appointment only. Call 412-400-1320 to set one up. BSA is also still accepting Registration for the 2013 Spring In House Program, as well as the remaining Skill Development Sessions. BSA Spring In House Program Information:
In the Spring of 2013, Basketball Stars of America will be hosting In House Programs at a number of locations in the Pittsburgh Area. These include Sewickley Academy in Sewickley, Hillcrest Christian Academy in Bethel Park, Shady Side Academy in Fox Chapel, Kiski Prep School in Saltsburg, PA. BSA will also use Monroeville Sports Center in Monroeville and Aquinas Academy in Gibsonia for occasional sessions. All In House Players will get together on Sunday nights at Sewickley Academy for their games.
2013 BSA In House Programs:
In the Spring of 2013, Basketball Stars of America will increase their In House Programs. The following In House Leagues will be offered this spring.
"BSA Junior" Instructional League: Boys & Girls ages 3 to 6
NIT League: Boys & Girls in 1st through 4th Grade
NCAA League: Boys in 5th & 6th Grade
NBA League: Boys in 7th & 8th Grade
WNCAA League: Girls in 5th & 6th Grade
WNBA League: Girls in 7th & 8th Grade
2013 BSA In House Program Costs:
- "BSA Junior" Instructional League: $255.
- All other BSA In House Leagues: $405 or $350 if a tryout fee was already paid.
2013 BSA In House Programs Include:
- All In House players will receive a full new 2013 BSA Uniform, including Game Jersey(s) & Shorts and a Shooting Shirt.
- Players in NIT, NCAA, NBA, WNCAA & WNBA will practice 1 weeknight per week at the practice site that they select. The practices will include Skill Development as well as Team Concepts.
- Players in "BSA Junior" Instructional League will participate in 10 Instructional Sessions on Sunday afternoons at Sewickley Academy, beginning March 9th through May 26th.
- All In House Leagues will play their games on Sunday afternoons or evenings at Sewickley Academy. These games will begin on March 9th and run through May 26th.
- Note that there will be no In House Program Games or "BSA Junior" Instructional Sessions on Easter & Mother's Day weekends.
- All BSA In House Programs will be directed by BSA Professional Basketball Coaches.
