Basketball Stars of America – Fall Basketball Programs

Fall AAU Basketball Leagues at Sewickley Academy
These leagues will focus on player development. Players will play competitive games as well as go through high level skill training sessions each weekend. Top Basketball Stars coaches will be coaching the teams and doing the instruction. The first date will be an evaluation day in order to split up teams. There will be no more than 10 players per team. Players in NIT, NCAA, NBA East & West, WNCAA and WNBA Leagues will also play in 3 Fall Tournaments as well (September 23-25, October 21-23 and November 4-6). All players must have BSA Black & White or BSA reversible jerseys to participate. If you do not have one or need to order a new one, you may do so for $25.

JR NIT League:
Boys & Girls ages 2 to 6
Times: Saturdays 9 am to 10 am
Dates: September 10, 17 & 24, October 1, 8, 15, 22 & 29, November 5 & 12
Cost: $150 per player. ($25 extra jersey fee if new one needed)

NIT League:
Boys & Girls in 1st through 4th grade
Times: Saturdays 10 am to Noon
Dates: September 10, 17 & 24*, October 1, 8, 15, 22* & 29, November 5* & 12
Cost: $225 per player. ($25 extra jersey fee if new one needed)

NCAA League:
Boys in 5th & 6th grade
Times: Saturdays Noon to 3 pm

Sunday Basketball Programs: Boot Camps, Academies, “BSA Elite” and Elite High School Workouts

Sunday Basketball Boot Camps
One of our most popular programs over the past 5 years, the Boot Camps have become the place to be on Sunday mornings. This program is open to Boys & Girls in 1st through 12th grade. Players are separated by age and ability and go through an hour and a half of high level basketball drills led by top coaches each Sunday. The improvement in each player is phenomenal.

Times: Sundays 9:30 am to 11 am @ Sewickley Academy
Dates: September 11, 18 & 25, October 2, 9, 16, 23 & 30, November 6 & 13 (NOTE: Boot Camp on September 25 will be at a location TBA due to Sewickley Clothesline Sale).
Cost: $250 per player (10 sessions) or $35 per session. Save $100 by registering for full season. T-Shirt included for Full Season participants.

BSA Point Guard Academy
This program is open to Boys & Girls in 4th through 12th grade who want to improve their point guard skills. Players who play other positions may also take part in this program. Coach Daryn Freedman, who has coached a number of top NBA point guards, along with Top BSA coaches will direct this program. This program is limited to 40 participants.

Times: Sundays 11 am to Noon @ Sewickley Academy
Dates: September 11, 18 & 25, October 2, 9, 16, 23 & 30, November 6 & 13 (NOTE: Academies on September 25 will be at a location TBA due to Sewickley Clothesline Sale).
Cost: $250 per player (10 sessions) or $35 per session. Save $100 by registering for full season. T-Shirt included for Full Season participants.

BSA Shooting & Scoring Academy
This program is open to Boys & Girls in 4th through 12th grade who want to improve their shooting and scoring skills. Former Division 1 College Basketball Coach Steve Brodzinski and other Top BSA Coaches will direct this program. This program is limited to 40 participants.

BSA Post Player Academy
This program is open to Boys & Girls in 4th through 12th grade who want to improve their post and inside play skills. Players who play other positions may also take part in this program. Former College Basketball Star Post Player Almamy Thiero and other Top BSA Coaches will direct this program. This program is limited to 40 participants.

Sunday Elite High School Basketball Player Workout
This program is limited to 20 players only. Boys & Girls in 9th through 12th grade who are interested in playing college basketball may participate in this group. Coach Freedman and top BSA Coaches will direct this program. Limited to 20 players! If an Elite 7th or 8th Grader is interested in attending, please call 412-400-1320 for permission.

“BSA Elite” Skills Workouts – New Program!
Participants in this program will be put through high level Skills Training by Top BSA Coaches, including Coaches Steve Brodzinski, Almamy Thiero and Daryn Freedman. Boys and Girls in 6th to 12th grade may participate. Experienced Players Only! The workouts will be 1 hour each and players may choose 1 time to do consistently throughout the season or mix and match the times.

Times: Saturdays 9 am to 10 am @ Sewickley Academy, Saturdays 6 pm to 7 pm @ Sewickley Academy, Sundays 10 am to 11 am, Sundays 7 pm to 8 pm @ Sewickley Academy.
Dates: September 10-11, 17-18 & 24-25, October 11-2, 8-9, 15-16, 22-23 & 29-30, November 5-6 & 12-13 (NOTE: Sessions on September 24 & 25 will be at a location TBA due to Sewickley Clothesline Sale).
Cost: $250 per player (10 sessions) or $400 per player (20 sessions) or $35 per session. Save $100 by registering for 10 sessions or save $300 by registering for 20 sessions. T-Shirt included for Full Season participants.

Introducing the BSA Weeknight Fall League Programs:
The Weeknight Fall League Programs are similar to BSA’s Weekend Fall Leagues as they will combine skill development with competitive game play. All players participating in the Weeknight Fall Leagues will also have the opportunity to play in 2 or 3 weekend tournaments during the Fall Season, along with all the weeknight sessions.

Individual & Group Skill Development
These skill development workouts are by appointment only and take place on weeknights, after school and on weekends. Appointments can be made by calling the Basketball Stars office at 412-400-1320. These are high intensity workout sessions led by top BSA Coaches.

Cost: Individual and Small Group workouts vary in price. Call 412-400-1320 for details and to set up workouts.
