Winter AAU Basketball Leagues at Sewickley Academy (315 Academy Ave, Sewickley, PA):
These leagues will focus on player development. Players will play competitive games as well as go through high level skill training sessions each weekend. Top Basketball Stars coaches will be coaching the teams and doing the instruction. The first date will be an evaluation day in order to split up teams. There will be no more than 10 players per team. All players must have BSA black & white or BSA reversible jerseys to participate. If you do not have one or need to order a new one, you may do so for $25.

Junior NIT League:
Boys & Girls ages 3 to 6
Times: Sundays 9 am to 10 am
Dates: November 18 & 25, December 2, 9, 16, 23 & 30, January 6, 13 & 20
Cost: $100 per player ($75 if paid by November 11, 2012)

NIT League:
Boys & Girls in 2nd through 4th Grade
Times: Sundays 1 pm to 3 pm

NCAA League:
Boys in 5th & 6th Grade

Sunday Basketball Boot Camps
One of our most popular programs over the past 6 years, the Boot Camps have become the place to be on Sunday mornings. This program is open to Boys & Girls in 1st through 12th grade. Players are separated by age and ability and go through an hour and a half of high level basketball drills led by top coaches each Sunday. The improvement in each player is phenomenal!

Times: Sundays 9:30 am to 11 am @ Sewickley Academy

BSA Point Guard Academy
This program is open to Boys & Girls in 4th through 12th grade who want to improve their point guard skills. Players who play other positions may also take part in this program. Coach Daryn Freedman, who has coached a number of top NBA point guards, along with top BSA coaches will direct this program. This program is limited to 40 participants.

Times: Sundays 11 am to Noon @ Sewickley Academy
Dates: November 18 & 25, December 2, 9, 16, 23 & 30, January 6, 13, 20 & 27, February 3, 10, 17 & 24, March 3, 10 & 17

BSA Post Player Academy
This program is open to Boys & Girls in 4th through 12th grade who want to improve their post and inside play skills. Players who play other positions may also take part in this program. Coach Almamy Thiero, a former Player at the University of Memphis, as well as other top BSA Coaches will direct this program. This program is limited to 40 participants.

BSA Shooting & Scoring Academy
This program is open to Boys & Girls in 4th through 12th grade who want to improve their shooting and scoring skills and overall Offensive Ability. Top BSA Coaches will direct this program. This program is limited to 40 participants.

Times: Sundays Noon to 1 pm @ Sewickley Academy
Dates: November 18 & 25, December 2, 9, 16, 23 & 30, January 6, 13, 20 & 27, February 3, 10, 17 & 24, March 3, 10 & 17

BSA Elite Basketball Prospect Workouts
This program is limited to 20 players per sessions. Boys & Girls in 6th through 12th grade who are interested in high level basketball training and potentially playing College Basketball may participate in these workouts. Former Division 1 & NBA Coach Daryn Freedman, as well as other top BSA Coaches will direct this program. Limited to 20 players!

Speed, Quickness and Basketball Strength Training Academy
Participants in this program will be pushed and taught to become better athletes by improving speed, quickness, jumping and strength. Boys and Girls in 4th to 12th grade may participate.

Times: Sundays 7 pm to 8 pm @ Sewickley Academy
Dates: November 18 & 25, December 2, 9, 16, 23 & 30, January 6, 13, 20 & 27, February 3, 10, 17 & 24, March 3, 10 & 17

BSA Weekend 1 on 1 Workouts – NEW for 2012!
Participants in this program will be put through one hour long Individual Workouts led by Top BSA Coaches, including Almamy Thiero, Bayete Gordon, Shane Mahoney, Steve Scorpion, Patrick Phillips and Daryn Freedman. The Workout Sessions will be tailored to each player’s needs. Boys and Girls in 1st to 12th grade may participate. Times are available on a First Come, First Served Basis. Weeknight workouts are available as well at different pricing. Call 412-400-1320 to make an appointment.

Individual & Group Skill Development
These skill development workouts are by appointment only and take place on weeknights, after school and on weekends. Appointments can be made by calling the Basketball Stars office at 412-400-1320. These are high intensity workout sessions led by Coach Freedman and other top Basketball Stars staff.

Cost: $75 per hour per player for 1 on 1 Workouts. $50 per hour per player for small group workouts (up to 5 players.)

2013 Spring AAU Basketball Tryouts:

Dates & Times: Tryout Dates and Times will be announced by the first week of January and are slated to begin the weekend of January 26th & 27th. and continue throughout the month of February. Make-up tryouts for any open spots will be held in early March. The season begins in March!
